Who We Are

The Compass Group, Inc. was established in 1988 as a full-service meeting and event management company located in New Jersey and serving customers throughout the United States. We manage programs both domestically and internationally for groups of all sizes.

Over the years The Compass Group, Inc. has developed its client base through offering a full range of services for sales meetings, recognition award trips, trade shows, advisory board meetings, medical symposia, association management, as well as, social and themed events, spousal programs, and teambuilding events.

The Compass Group, Inc. works with a number of other trusted vendors when additional meeting services required. This includes, but is not limited to the following: Promotional Product Vendors, Printing Services, Production Companies, Travel Agencies, and more.

Our services are tailored to provide each client with Meeting & Event Planning to fit their needs. It is our goal to take your event in the right direction.

The Compass Group, Inc.  prides itself on honesty, integrity and full transparency to the client. We realize that when a client hires us, that one of the reasons they do so is for professional knowledge and recommendations. We always take the time to listen to our client’s expectations and needs first, and then we provide adjustments or recommendations that will help achieve the ultimate event goal.

We also realize that time=money and that it is important to make the most out of both aspects. Our clients can have the time to focus on what they need to do and rely on us to carry out their vision for each event.  Our budgets are very detailed and fully transparent. The client receives a copy of every original invoice and there is no additional markup cost.  We have consistently been on or under budget and the post event reconciliation is also supported with a detailed and line-itemed final budget in Excel.

Finally, what will set us apart from many other companies is that we keep track of meeting history. This pertains to not only budget, but actual head counts for meals, and what attendees like and do not like. This helps us in planning the same meeting for the next year and finding ways to improve it and make the event even more successful.
